Field Construction Manager OEM

Our Construction Services Field Technician role provides you the opportunity to oversee the construction activities for a state-of-the-art steel making facility in West Virginia.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and a passion to apply professional experience and knowledge in a team environment to support the OEM installation, start-up and commissioning.
Responsibilities:
- Possess a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of OEM for steel making facilities.
- Be responsible for completing the following site construction activities:
- Act as liaison between the Owner, Engineering Partners and Contractors to coordinate the installation of the Steel Production Facility.
- Act as the Owner's Authorized Representative in planning meetings
- Understand project schedule and coordinate construction and procurement activities as part of the OEM installation.
- Work with Staff and Contractors to commission the OEM and systems.
- Work with OEM to help facilitate the training of the Owner's operations team for the Steel Plant
- Provide quality oversight for designs performed by others where required.
- Be the Owner's main point of contact for construction services related to the installation of the OEM.
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, High School Diploma or equivalent work experience in engineering or construction related discipline.
- 10 years' experience in construction field services related to OEM for heavy industrial and manufacturing type projects.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of industry codes and standards (ANSI, ASME, IBC, ISO, NFPA)
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of coordinating P6 scheduling software
- Experience in leading a construction project.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Position requires the individual work on-site 6 days a week
- Ability to access an active construction site.
- Possess either OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
