BlackRock Resources is seeking candidates for an Electrical Technician opportunity with our oil and gas client in southern Louisianna.

Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in maintaining electronics or electromechanical equipment within the oil and gas (midstream) industry.
- Previous experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.
- Trade certificate required or other equivalent training.
- Evaluate basic equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs.
- Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, and environmental inspections.
- Follow appropriate policies, procedures, protocol and complete necessary documentation.
- Maintain daily communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
- Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule.
- Ensure proper care of spares, tools and test equipment and ensure calibration.
- Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use/handling of equipment through formal training.
- Meet all other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Other related duties as assigned
