We’re hiring a Mechanical Drafter with expertise in designing and detailing components for heavy equipment and bulk material handling systems. If you’re a skilled AutoCAD and Inventor user with experience creating mechanical and structural drawings, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Draft mechanical components like drive bases, shafts, bearings, gears, and belt drives with minimal supervision.
- Design and detail structural steel framing, general arrangement drawings, and shop details.
- Check mechanical and structural drawings for accuracy prior to release.
- Assist with foundation layout and detailing as needed.
- Collaborate with teams on-site (approximately 5% travel required) for job discussions, inspections, and field measurements.
What You Bring
- Associate Degree and at least 2 years of drafting experience.
- 5 years of related work experience preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor software.
- Knowledge of drafting for heavy bulk material handling equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with foundation layout/drafting is a plus.
