- Rural Town in Southern Texas
- 2nd Shift Position
- Pay is dependent on experience
- Must be Bi-lingual English/Spanish
- BS Degree in a Food, Animal, or Life Sciences program or relevant experience.
- 5 or more years’ of food industry experience in the areas of Quality Assurance, and/or Technical Services.
- Experience in a USDA facility is preferred.
- 2 plus years of supervisory experience
- Must have knowledge and functional training or experience with general manufacturing
- processes, SOP's, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP, BRC), Quality Control functions, basic
- HACCP/food safety requirements,
- Plant Sanitation processes, and Laboratory equipment and techniques
- Strong communication, analytical, and statistical abilities
