BlackRock Resources is seeking candidates for an Sr. Mechanical Engineering opportuntiy with our manufacturing client in Canonsburg, PA. Ideal candidates will have experience with power distribution and data centers.

Education
- BS Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience with mechanical design, manufacturing/production, thermal design principles, and power distribution.
- Ability to travel up to 10 percent domestically and could be on an international basis on rare occasion.
- Create innovative, customizable power distribution and monitoring solutions that provides value to our partners across all markets.
- Use a systematic, analytically-based approach to concepting, designing, and testing.
- Collaborate with the engineering team tasked with the commercialization and product launches.
- Perform advanced mechanical engineering design tasks and provide feedback in support of customer specific customizations.
- Assist in directing the testing required, verifying product performance, system integration, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Purchasing staff to assure product manufacturability.
- Create mentoring relationships with other engineers
- Review the work of others, including drafters and engineers.
- Collaboration with certification laboratories such as UL and Intertek as well as various international agencies.
- Provide lab testing support.
- Assist in leading team-based initiatives with the company.
- Advanced experience with integrated system design, including mechanical and thermal simulation, 3D modeling, GD&T, DFM, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of applicable agency standards.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tools.
- Advanced knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer satisfaction, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- Advanced knowledge of project management processes and principles.
