BlackRock is seeking a Market Partner/Internal Wholesales to become part of our The Offshore Wealth business.

Our Offshore Wealth business is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing division within the company. The business is responsible for delivering the full range of the BlackRock platform, products, and solutions to financial intermediaries, such as wirehouses, broker-dealers, private banks, independent advisors, family offices, and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). As such, Offshore Wealth has been instrumental in solidifying BlackRock's position as a leading provider of investment solutions for the international clients in the Americas.

Responsibilities

The market partner/internal wholesaler partners with our market leader/external wholesalers to effectively execute a business plan to drive BlackRock product and solutions to Financial Advisors. The market partner will maintain a high level of client connectivity and represent the most comprehensive investment offering in the industry.

  • Drive sales across the full spectrum of BlackRock investment solutions, including Alternatives, Mutual Funds, ETFs, SMAs, and portfolio solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and commercialize relationships with existing Financial Advisor clients.
  • Expand existing client base by uncovering investment needs and presenting solutions.
  • Pursue new opportunities by conducting disciplined client profiling, lead identification, and follow-ups.
  • Exhibit high-level market knowledge and ability to converse with financial advisors on current market conditions as well as investment products and solutions.
  • Working in partnership with market leaders to conduct market and product analysis, plan, and execute the commercial strategies.

Position Requirements:

  • BA/BS in finance, business or related field required.
  • 2 years of experience in a business development/sales role focusing on asset management or wealth management.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and work under tight time constraints.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability and track record for delivering results.
  • Outstanding ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization in a team environment.
  • Strong investment knowledge and passion to learn.
  • Series 7/66 and licenses required or to pursue within the first three months on employment.
  • Clean U-4.
  • Fluent in English, and proficiency in Spanish highly preferred.
