About this role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Benefits Governance team, including the support of M&A related benefits integration initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the governance and administration of our employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and contribute to the strategic direction of our benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the administration and governance of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans
Support the development and implementation of benefits policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, Tax, and Finance, to address benefits-related issues and provide guidance on best practices
Coordinate regular reviews and audits of benefits programs to identify areas for improvement from a compliance perspective, and ensure data accuracy
Prepare and analyze reports on benefits utilization, costs, and trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning
Assist in the communication of benefits programs to employees, including the development of compliant educational materials and presentations
Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the company's benefits programs remain competitive and compliant
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role
Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and relevant regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with benefits governance and compliance in a large organization
Professional certification in benefits or HR (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP)
