Job Duties: Design, develop, test, document and deploy high quality solutions on the platform based on Salesforce best practices as well as business needs using Agile methodology. Responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications using Apex, Aura Lightning Platform (Aura, LWC framework), JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, HTML, CSS, SOAP / REST Webservices. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to analyze project objectives, code new Salesforce solutions, create new customer workflows, maintain user roles and troubleshoot application errors. Work with cross-functional development teams to implement solutions that require integrations and/or connectivity to other systems. Perform detailed technical analysis based on functional specifications to create reusable components to increase efficiencies of the multiple business teams. Responsible to build custom API end points using SOAP, REST Webservices and Event based architecture to integrate Salesforce with other proprietary open-source based internal application and / or cloud application(s). Lead and contribute to all technical aspects of projects developed. Deploy code and configuration changes across various SF environments with familiarity in using SFDX, Ant Migration tool, Jenkins for robust change management, Dev Ops (CI/CD).
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Salesforce Developer, Senior Computer Programmer Analyst or related field. Must possess Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications. Must have six (6) years of experience with: Salesforce experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; Salesforce development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools; Web Technologies including HTML5, CSS3, XML, jQuery and JavaScript; Force.com IDE, VSC, CLI, GIT and Salesforce Reports and Dashboards; Salesforce APIs, Salesforce connectors and middleware solutions including Kafka and MuleSoft.
