Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the team, ensuring regular onsite presence to support residents, prospects, and vendors.
- Operate in compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and all relevant federal, state, and local laws.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, keeping the team informed and trained on any revisions.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
- Ensure rent collection, eviction processes, and lease rule enforcement.
- Maintain an approved vendor list and ensure compliance.
- Oversee unit turnovers and accounts payable.
- Hire, train, motivate, and supervise on-site staff, fostering teamwork and delivering annual reviews.
- Conduct market surveys, develop marketing plans, and strive for high occupancy.
- Provide exceptional customer service, leading to decreased turnover and high resident retention.
- Maintain organized records and initiate all necessary policies and procedures.
- Respond to emergency situations and notify Regional Manager as needed.
- Assist with other duties as requested by upper management.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of Multifamily Management experience required
- Multi-site experience preferred
- CAM® designation is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and property management software
- Understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws, Fair Housing/ADA regulations, OSHA & EPA requirements
- Grace Hill Transcripts are a plus
- Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, and Reliable Transportation are required for site travel
