The Greenskeeper performs semiskilled work in the maintenance and repair of The Hill golf course and related facilities and performs other related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent.Shift: Monday - FridaySome weekends may be required.The Town of Blacksburg is an EEO Employer M/F/D/V

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of forceWork frequently standing, walking, sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel and reaching with hands and arms and occasionally requires speaking or hearing, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, pushing or pulling, lifting and repetitive motionsWork has standard vision requirementsVocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken wordHearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levelsWork requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, using of measuring devices, operating machines, operating motor vehicles or equipment and observing general surroundings and activitiesWork regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally requires working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, exposure to the risk of electrical shock and exposure to vibrationWork is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic)
