Intelligence Analyst

Blackstone Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Intelligence Analyst for their Healthcare Security Client in Northen California.
The Threat Intelligence (TI) Analyst has direct oversight of all functions and services of the Threat Intelligence Program within a designated geographical, organizational region. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality output of intelligence products. The TI Analyst will have responsibility for regional-level intelligence activities, including the collating, analyzing, and reporting of incidents and trends of local and regional interest which may contain sensitive proprietary information, and the formulation and communication of recommendations as requested by the customer. Intelligence activities also include special intelligence projects as designated by the Director overseeing the TI Program, and executive stakeholders. The TI Analyst will be responsible for the development of intelligence briefings and adhering to program guidelines and policy. The TI Analyst will advise senior leadership on intelligence trends throughout the region and project manage the implementation of any intelligence-based initiatives.
Job roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Regional Intelligence Activities :
Building and monitoring intelligence feeds and creating weekly intelligence reports for a market / geographic area to include criminal statistical variances by type, demonstration and protest activity, local activist groups, interpreting the data to determine if any strategic decisions need to be proposed and made. Conducting investigative support and build individual threat profiles in support of regional cases. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with local law enforcement agencies within a determined market area. Advancing special intelligence projects in support of market leadership, including incident impact analysis and monitoring.
Program Implementation :
Manage the rollout of new or updated intelligence platform capabilities, including the conversion of intelligence products to newly introduced formats. Integrate new intelligence capabilities into existing intelligence products and integrate new service capabilities in support of market operations. Project manage local initiatives within a determined market as determined by program leadership.
Administrative Activities : completing required compliance documents, mandatory company trainings, vendor access requirements. Completing regular performance reporting.
Professional training and development : completing recertification trainings, participating in advanced skills training as directed, conducting peer-to-peer skills training, pursuing new product training, advancing qualifications.
Preferred Experience :
- 8 years managing the development of intelligence products
- All-Source Intelligence Certification Intelligence Analyst Certified (IAC)
- Certified Law Enforcement Analysts (CLEA)
- Experience building new intelligence sources for operational consumption.
