What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School or JV Softball Coach position at Blackstone Millville Regional School District?
Blackstone-Millville Regional School District is in search of a softball coach to lead the middle school or JV team which will be determined by registration numbers.
Coach Expectations:
- Use SportsYou platform to communicate with parents and players
- Plan and lead practice sessions to provide appropriate sport instruction for a variety of abilities
- Foster an environment of sportsmanship and respect
- Maintain proper inventory of uniforms and team equipment
- Ensure player safety during practices and games
- Collaborate with Athletic Director to ensure all players meet eligibility requirements for participation
- Participate in athletic open houses and the district’s annual coach summit
Qualifications:
- Fundamentals of Coaching certificate required after 1 year
- CPR/First Aid/AED certificate
- Concussion training
- Previous softball coaching experience
- Prior experience as a player
