Job Description

BlackStone Security Group is actively seeking professional security officers to provide coverage in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

We are in search of a highly motivated and reliable Unarmed Security Officer-FLEX to join our team. As an Unarmed Security Officer-FLEX, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their guests. You will be required to patrol the premises, monitor surveillance equipment, and report any suspicious activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications :

Must obtain NC Unarmed Security Guard Registration (PPSB)

Experience in the security or customer service industry is preferred but not required; we are open to training motivated candidates without prior experience.

Responsibilities :

Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates

Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms and respond to emergencies as needed

Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities

Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance

Skills :

As an Unarmed Security Officer-FLEX, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to think critically to detect signs of intrusion and respond to emergencies. Additionally, you will utilize your knowledge of security procedures and access control systems to enforce rules and regulations and maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets.
