Field Supervisor – Blackstone SecurityPosition Overview:
The Field Supervisor oversees security operations at designated client sites, ensuring compliance with Blackstone Security policies and maintaining a high standard of professionalism. This role involves supervising security personnel, managing daily operations, coordinating training, and addressing client needs. The Field Supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager, Division Manager, or Regional Manager to ensure seamless execution of security services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Operations
- Oversee security personnel at client sites, ensuring post requirements are met.
- Maintain staffing levels, addressing schedule changes, call-offs, and emergencies.
- Ensure proper training, performance monitoring, and compliance with company policies.
- Act as the primary liaison between security staff, management, and clients.
- Training & Compliance
- Conduct and schedule On-the-Job Training (OJT) for security personnel.
- Ensure all staff adhere to site-specific duties, policies, and procedures.
- Implement corrective actions for policy violations.
- Maintain up-to-date training records and compliance documentation.
- Client & Incident Management
- Address client concerns and provide reports on site security performance.
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and requests, coordinating with law enforcement if necessary.
- Ensure professional interaction with clients, the public, and emergency personnel.
- Administrative Duties
- Review and submit Daily Activity Reports (DARs), Incident Reports, and Time Sheets.
- Attend staff and client meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of overtime and shift coverage adjustments.
- Ensure company vehicles (if applicable) receive scheduled maintenance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Supervisory experience managing 10 employees in a security or related field.
- Licensing: Must obtain and maintain an Armed/Unarmed Security Guard License.
- Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean 36-month record and proof of insurance.
- Training: CPR/Basic First Aid certification (preferred). Leadership training is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage schedules and ensure shift coverage.
- Proficiency in report writing and policy enforcement.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and the public.
- Work Conditions:
- Must maintain professional dress and grooming standards.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for emergencies.
- Must pass a background check and random drug screenings.
