Security Guard

We are looking for a competent Security Guard to undertake patrol of the client’s interior premises and protection of the client’s staff as well as customers. You will be responsible for deterring, detecting, and reporting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior. A security guard must be well-trained in surveillance and reporting activity. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company to maintain excellent working conditions by keeping client facilities safe and problem-free.

We are looking for someone that is responsible to write excellent reports. Must have a current guard license as this position will start immediately. Serious applicants only. The hours will be 10am-10pm

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the areas.
• Ensure all non -authorized areas are locked and secured.
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
• Submit written reports of all incidents.
• Contact your supervisor when EMS is on property.

Skills

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Bilingual ( preferred )
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Excellent observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in report writing.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in unwelcoming situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
