Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities and respond appropriately.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets.
- Train and mentor security staff in conflict management, emergency response, and customer service skills.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and daily activities for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Ensure that all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions immediately.
Skills
- Certification in security management or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Experience in military or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions quickly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and visitors effectively.
