Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and manage sophisticated network infrastructures. This role demands extensive experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN with Meraki, as well as expertise in routing, switching, and load balancing (F5). You will also focus on network design for multi-datacenter setups and hybrid Azure Cloud solutions. Roles and Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Design :
- Lead the design and architecture of expansive network infrastructure for multi-datacenter and hybrid Azure Cloud setups.
- Ensure that networks maintain high availability, scalability, and resilience across both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Develop and implement advanced routing and switching solutions leveraging Cisco technologies.
Firewall & Security :
Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls to ensure rigorous security and compliance standards. Essential knowledge includes :IPSec VPNDMVPNNetwork Address Translation (NAT)SSL VPNPacket inspection and access rulesIn-Depth Knowledge of Cisco Networking :

Design and manage SD-WAN solutions for optimized performance and secure remote branch connectivity.Ensure consistent and secure connectivity among multiple datacenters, cloud environments, and remote locations using SD-WAN technologies.Hybrid Cloud Networking (Azure) :
Develop, implement, and manage network infrastructures in Azure Cloud, ensuring integration with on-premise systems.Implement secure connectivity solutions between Azure and on-premise systems, utilizing VPN and ExpressRoute.Load Balancing & Traffic Management :
Design, configure, and manage F5 load balancers for optimal performance and availability.Implement global traffic management and load balancing for fault-tolerant systems.Disaster Recovery & Automation :
Automate disaster recovery processes across datacenter and cloud environments.Utilize best practices and automation tools for effective disaster recovery strategies.Network Security & Compliance :
Oversee the enforcement of strong security measures across the network including firewalls, encryption, and access control.Ensure compliance with regulations such as PCI, SOX, and GDPR.Stay updated on security trends and proactively enhance security measures.Monitoring & Troubleshooting :
Implement advanced monitoring tools to ensure network health and performance.Experience with SolarWinds Orion technologies including Network Performance Manager and Network Traffic Analyzer.Lead root cause analysis for network issues and implement preventive measures.Collaboration & Leadership :
Collaborate with security, cloud, and systems teams to align on network design and policies.Mentor junior network engineers and lead operational teams.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).8-10 years of experience in network engineering emphasizing Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN (Meraki), F5, and network design.Experience in regulated environments like financial institutions or government.Strong Azure Cloud networking experience, including Azure VPN and hybrid connectivity.Preferred experience with AWS and GCP.Proficiency in routing protocols and switching technologies.Experience automating network operations and disaster recovery.Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, F5, Meraki, Azure Networking) highly valued.Hands-on experience with networking in AWS and GCP.Familiarity with SDN and network automation tools.Experience in enterprise-scale environments and knowledge of Agile methodologies.Blackstone Talent Group, a division of Blackstone Technology Group, offers IT services and solutions globally.
