Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Consultant to join our Client's team.
Project Overview:
A large government agency is enhancing its digital service delivery capabilities for workers’ rights and protection programs using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. The solution leverages Power Pages, Power Apps, and Power Automate to facilitate online applications, document submissions, and case management workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain Power Pages portals for public-facing services, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
- Design and implement low-code/no-code solutions using Power Apps, including model-driven and canvas apps for internal and external users.
- Configure and develop automated workflows with Power Automate, including approvals, notifications, and system integrations.
- Integrate Dynamics 365 with backend systems (e.g., legacy claim databases, document repositories) using Dataverse, connectors, and APIs.
- Support UI/UX design standards and ADA compliance for public-facing portals.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical designs, architecture diagrams, and release notes.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engagement) solutions in public sector or regulated environments.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Pages (Power Apps Portals), and Power Automate.
- Experience designing and deploying secure, scalable, and user-friendly Power Pages portals for public users.
- Proficiency with Dataverse, custom connectors, and integration patterns for Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services used in conjunction with Power Platform (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
- Strong understanding of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for Power Platform using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Boards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in public sector settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with a state or federal labor agency or related unemployment insurance systems.
- Development experience to include JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, RESTful Web APIs, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Microsoft Azure.
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) and/or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
- Experience with Power BI for operational dashboards and analytics.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards relevant to unemployment programs (e.g., FERPA, NIST, NYS IT Standards).
