Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to the development and launch of consumer products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment. Ensure optimal utilization and allocation of resources.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations. Implement and monitor quality control processes.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve project-related issues and challenges. Foster a proactive and solutions-oriented approach within the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance using key metrics and KPIs. Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations on new orders for existing and new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a project manager in the consumer products industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Agile, Waterfall, MS Project).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
