ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Operate survey instruments virtually every day with little or no supervision, while striving to increase speed and accuracy
- Perform Coordinate Geometry (COGO) functions such as inverse, resection, stake a line, translate and rotate coordinates in the field
- Make field book notes and sketches of data gathered at job site
- Call out reading or writes station number and reading in notebook
- Mark points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark
- Measure distance between survey points with steel tape, cloth tape or electronic instruments
- Mark measuring points with keel (marking crayon), paint sticks, scratches, tacks, or stakes
- Place stakes at designated points and drives them into ground at specified elevation
- Cut and clears brush and trees from line of survey
Perform other duties as directed by Crew Chief and / or professional surveyor

Valid Georgia Driver’s License and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company policy standardsCertified Survey Technician Level II preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
