Overview:
Our client based out of Billerica MA, is seeking a Plumber to work as part of our Manufacturing Team in the production of our products, designs and manufactures industrial power systems and chillers.
This is a good opportunity for a Plumber looking to work steady hours, not to be on call, and work indoors, in a clean, climate controlled, manufacturing environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Pipe fitting, soldering, copper tube up to 3” diameter.
- The ability to cut and fit copper tubing and perform material layout.
- Ability to work from a P&ID.
- A good understanding and applications of pumps, valves, gauges, and heat exchangers.
- Work with Application and Construction Engineers in developing design and details of Load Module based on custom application.
- Basic fabrication skills such as milling, drilling, tapping, cutting, and grinding.
- Abilities to independently perform basic mechanical problem-solving and repairs.
- Brazing and silver soldering is necessary.
- Blueprint reading.
- Flexibility to work overtime on an as needed basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Trade school graduate
- Excellent soldering skills.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an apprentice Commercial Plumber or a Journeyman Commercial Plumber.
- Good communication skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Forklift or crane operation experience is a plus
Salary : $30 - $35
