Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in customer service and sales, with a proven ability to negotiate prices and build effective relationships with customers. This role requires a thorough understanding of office procedures and sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for pole barns, analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate cost projections.
- Work with customers to make sure their pole barns or barndominiums are exactly what they are wanting.
- Monitor progress of current jobs in the shop.
- Build strong relationships with clients and team members to facilitate effective communication throughout the estimating process.
- Answer phones and questions about pole barns and trusses from customers.
Qualifications
- Dependability - must show up to work on time and ready to work
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Office and customer service experience required.
- Some sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- We will train on our truss system and barn sales.
