Shift Hours : Friday 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, Saturday 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, Sunday 7 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM, Monday & Tuesday 10 : 30 PM- 6 : 30 AM
As a Desk Security Officer with Blackwell Professional Support Services, Inc., you will be posted at a desk where you will oversee a physical property, assist the needs of clients, tenants, and visitors with high-touch customer service, collaborate with third party vendors, and meet the demands of the property. This position reports directly to the Security Supervisor.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and visitors
- Maintain approved access control to the property, verify employee badge identification, monitor badge access system, and issue temporary badges as needed
- Greet and register all guests and issue guest badges with appropriate clearance level
- Ensure the desk is well organized and equipped with necessary supplies
- Observe and report events throughout the day. Complete detailed security incident reports for all events occurring on shift
- Maintain steady, organized, and efficient traffic pattern in the desk area
- Answer client, vendor, and visitor questions and incoming calls
- Respond to emergency situations within the desk area in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent communication and reporting
- Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other specialized software
- Utilize a computer system to maintain digital records and communication
- Additional property specific duties may be required
