Leading Multi Billion $ Hedge Fund is looking for a high performing middle office/ trade support individual with very strong technical/ programming skills. The primary role will be to work on the Fixed Income Derivative trading desk, supporting the portfolio managers/ traders as the business continues to grow and continually work to streamline processes. Working on a tightly-knit, highly productive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the trading desk, supporting Macro trading with exposure to multiple asset classes.
- Calculate p l, manage risk, trade capture, manage positions, and desk escalation associated with the Fixed Income and Macro market.
- Work closely with the portfolio managers, technology, infrastructure, and counterparties to ensure all details are accurately reported in the systems and automate processes.
- Build and enhance technical tools to maximize efficiency.
- Support new business initiatives – product testing, migration to strategic architecture, onboarding
Strong technical skills - SQL, Python, C , Macros, Vlookups.
At least 2 years of Middle Office experience necessary in Fixed Income Derivative products.
Strong Risk management/ P L
Excellent academic background/ GPA.
