Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage landscaping and lawn care crews to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely project completion.
• Train, coach, and mentor crew members to build a skilled, motivated, and productive workforce.
• Coordinate daily schedules and route assignments based on project priorities and client needs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, following Blade Cutters' safety standards and procedures.
• Promote and implement environmentally safe landscaping practices, ensuring crews understand and apply sustainable methods on every job.
• Monitor job progress and perform quality control checks, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
• Maintain and track tools, equipment, and materials, making sure crews have what they need to get the job done.
• Communicate with clients and management, providing updates, addressing concerns, and building strong customer relationships.
• Work alongside your crew when needed—leading by example with hands-on support and technical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on work history in landscaping, lawn maintenance, or groundskeeping
• Strong people management skills with experience leading and motivating crews
• Bilingual in English & Spanish (highly preferred)
• Skilled in mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, fertilizing, spring/fall cleanups, and/or hardscape installs
• Familiarity with sustainable landscaping techniques and a commitment to environmentally responsible practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews, projects, and schedules with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Comfortable driving flatbed trucks and towing trailers with the crew and equipment
• Physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
• A reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented approach to leadership
• Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and digital scheduling tools is a plus.

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends seasonally and weather depending
• Some flexibility required based on project schedules and weather conditions
• Meet at shop and transport team to sites

• Work Sites across Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan

• Travel to various job sites as needed
