Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement appropriate instructional activities that incorporate the latest technologies and interactive learning methods.
- Possess the knowledge, skills, and experience to provide effective instruction in concepts and principles as they relate to the field of instruction, ensuring content covers approved competencies.
- Assist students with power and hand tools, construction framing, measurement and layout, residential building codes, and estimating project costs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient classroom/lab environment.
- Evaluate student performance and provide detailed feedback to help improve performance and maintain student learning outcomes.
- Complete all required college records, including attendance and grades, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Use the college's student information system and approved retention software to assist and retain students.
- Able to teach nights and/or weekends.
