Accounts Payable Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY The Account Payable Specialist is responsible for processing and verifying invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts, all while contributing to the company's financial health.

Job Functions:

• Ensure all invoices are correctly coded and approved according to company policies before entering
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile Credit Cards and enter.
• Complete Month-end procedures and entries.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
• Assist upper management with any special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of accounting and/or Accounts Payable experience
• Experience processing invoices from multiple locations.
• High school degree; Preferred bachelor's degree in accounting
• Good Listening & communication Skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Excel, formulas, and Pivot Tables
• Experience with QuickBooks is preferred, but training will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Make a competitive wage between $19.00 - $21.00
