What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Manager position at Blagden Hospitality Group?
Blagden Hospitality is seeking a Manager to join team who exhibits leadership, takes initiative, and can follow our standards while overseeing daily operations.
With locations throughout NW and NE DC (Tiger Fork, Calico, Hi-Lawn), our restaurants and bars have sprawling open spaces with games, live music, themed parties, delicious draft cocktails and fun, energetic teams. We offer endless opportunities to host events, promtions, and programming, both big and small, while simultaneously executing daily operations. We are approaching our busy season and are excited to kick-off our peak season at multiple locations!
Job Expectations and Requirements:
- Train service team on hospitality, food, and beverage menus upon being hired as well as provide continuous education throughout their employment
- Direct, supervise, and lead front of house employees on a daily basis in accordance with company standards
- Establish strong leadership by being responsive to suggestions and concerns and working to resolve problems
- Order supplies and beverages and adhere to pars and business level trends
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Sharp attention to detail and organization
- Comply with Standards of Hospitality and SOPs and assist in assuring the same from all employees
- Assist in success of the business by contributing to revenue goals, programming, and hiring and retaining staff

At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience preferred.

Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Highly organized, productive, and able to work meticulously in a high-volume restaurant & bar.

Energetic and friendly personality, with a strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and support colleagues regardless of role.

Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Must be able to maintain an ABC License.
Physical Demands:

Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach shoulder level.

Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures.

Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to stand for 8 hours at a time.
Open availability and a minimum of 2 years of manager experience in a high volume restaurant environment is preferred.

Salary : $58,000 - $65,000
