Compensation
- We offer competitive base pay up to $18.75/hr with annual performance-based merit raises.
- Saturday and Sunday weekend premium pay is an additional $2.50 per hour.
Job Description
The Small Engine Technician performs a wide range of services and duties in our Small Engine Service Center. These may include:
- Diagnosing, assembling, and repairing various outdoor small engine products sold at Blain's Farm & Fleet.
- Providing exceptional customer service interactions.
- Ordering, receiving, and stocking small engine parts.
- Assisting customers with warranty claims.
- Assisting in the Service Center as assigned.
- Maintaining store facilities and equipment, such as forklifts and lawn mowers.
Requirements and Qualifications
- You must be able to learn to use our Part Smart website to find replacement small engine parts.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- You must be able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
