We are a Minnesota based family-owned business looking for an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our team! As a Recruiter at our company, you will be responsible for finding, sourcing, attracting and hiring talent with the goal to fulfill company's hiring needs. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude; attention to detail; excellent communication skills; computer savvy; diligent; great with deadlines and experience working with job boards; hiring; and recruiting/sourcing sites, experience with recruiting platforms.

This position will focus on Recruitment for Blaine Brothers as well as the sister companies North American Trailer and Hydraulic Specialty Inc. We are a growing company, and you may wear many hats, but your main responsibilities will include all aspects of recruiting in filling our openings across our family of companies.

SALARY RANGE:

$60K- $80K (based off experience/skillsets)

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the hiring process for all open positions and anticipate future recruiting needs across all departments
  • Screen applications, select qualified candidates, and coordinate the interview process
  • Source candidates through various recruiting platforms; continuously research and expand into new sourcing channels
  • Develop and update job descriptions and specifications in collaboration with department managers
  • Assist in scheduling interviews and ensure the preparation of interview questions and other required materials
  • Draft accurate and detailed job postings aligned with departmental hiring criteria
  • Identify and implement effective recruitment strategies based on industry standards and organizational needs
  • Act as a key point of contact for candidates, building strong relationships throughout the selection process and tracking progress
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified applicants by connecting with community services, colleges, schools, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and job boards
  • Represent the organization at college job fairs and recruitment events; establish and grow partnerships with educational institutions (some travel required)
  • Manage and optimize social media recruiting tools and platforms
  • A foundational understanding of mechanical and technical roles (a plus)
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Oversee all phases of the recruitment process from planning to onboarding
  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting, including weekly/monthly updates on hiring, applicant tracking, recruitment trends, and AOP goals
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create recruitment materials and campaigns; brainstorm creative approaches to attract talent
  • Collect and analyze data on employee retention to support workforce planning
  • Other general Human Resources responsibilities
Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; advanced degree preferred
  • (2-4 years) Previous Recruiting experience preferred
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
  • Willingness to jump in and help where needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - internal employees, customers and outside vendors
  • Ability to develop relationships with recruiting sources

  • Able to maintain confidentiality while working with payroll, benefits and HR database information
