Our growing Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa practice is seeking a motivated and outgoing receptionist. Candidate must have strong customer skills, ability to multi-task, excellent phone & communication skills, be punctual, reliable, detail oriented, a team player, and maintain professionalism in a high-end medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all patients and visitors as soon as they enter the office ensuring use of exceptional customer service at all times
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Must be a polished and professional multitasker
- Must have great phone etiquette including: pleasant greeting, clear speech, inviting tone and active listening skills
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
- Daily check in/out of patients & collecting payments
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Must be a doer, go getter, and team player
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; medical knowledge a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
