Overview:
The Marketing Intern will assist in content creation, branding, and digital marketing efforts to enhance Blair Cato’s online presence and community engagement. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive student who is eager to gain experience in social media marketing, content creation, and brand management. Interns will have the opportunity to develop real-world marketing strategies, assist in campaign execution, and contribute to various digital and print marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with content creation for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok), ensuring alignment with Blair Cato’s brand voice.
- Create graphics, reels, and videos to enhance social media and website visuals.
- Schedule and publish posts across multiple platforms and track engagement metrics.
- Monitor trends in real estate marketing and provide fresh ideas for content strategy.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content and designing email templates.
- Help develop and distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and event signage.
- Support event promotion and coordination for firm-hosted client events, networking mixers, and community engagement activities.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Assist in website updates, ensuring content is fresh and optimized for user engagement.
- Capture and edit photos/videos at firm events and closings for social media and promotional use.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Majors: Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student (rising junior or senior).
- Minimum 2.8 GPA with good academic standing.
- Experience using Canva, and familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Cap Cut, TikTok.
- Strong writing and communication skills with an understanding of brand voice and tone.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and proactively suggesting ideas.
