Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they are calibrated correctly for optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with stamping press, electrical discharge machining, lathe operations, laser cutting, and sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and techniques for quality assurance.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
