Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and proficiency in various construction management software. This role requires effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop project schedules using tools such as Primavera and Prolog to track progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and review contracts for construction projects, ensuring all terms are clear and enforceable.
- Utilize construction management software to document project progress, manage resources, and communicate updates.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam and Civil 3D.
- Experience with project scheduling tools including Primavera.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is advantageous.
