Job Purpose:
- To oversee and manage all aspects of the body shop operations at BLAISE ALEXANDER FAMILY DEALERSHIPS, ensuring high-quality repairs, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of technicians, estimators, and other body shop personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the entire repair process, from initial estimate to final delivery, ensuring quality control and adherence to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, complying with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance companies, and vendors.
- Monitor and control expenses, striving for profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports related to the body shop operations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in auto body repair.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to auto body repair and environmental protection.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve shop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools.
