Blake Brothers is seeking an accounting clerk to enter monthly accounting information, manage memberships and assist with peak/overflow call volumes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who thrives in a busy workplace. This is a detail oriented, hands-on position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter monthly accounting information into the ERP system.
- Manage the customer membership process in the ERP system.
- Assist with accounts receivable collections.
- Assist with peak/overflow call volumes.
- Communicate and coordinate tasks with controller to meet monthly deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSET
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience in an accounting clerk role
- Knowledge of AP, AR, and job costing, a plus.
- Beginner skills in MS Excel.
- Sage Intacct and/or Service Titan experience, a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of this position are computer data entry, customer service skills, experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, organization skills and ability to multitask. These essential tasks must be met in order to complete the function of this position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, office and building layouts and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
