Water Treatment Support Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Water Treatment Support Specialist will assist our multiple northeast branch locations with the design and troubleshooting of commercial and residential water treatment systems. This role supports over twenty outside sales personnel throughout New York and New England.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to inquiries regarding water treatment equipment and techniques.
• Serve as the primary contact for commercial water treatment system sizing and design.
• Offer technical/troubleshooting support for commercial and residential water treatment systems.
• Assist with commercial system pricing estimates.
• Assist with system specification submittals.
• Assist with water sample analysis interpretation.
• Provide technical drawings when required.
• Assist with sourcing system components.
• Communicate with suppliers to supply pricing and availability to internal team members.
• Provide support for residential water treatment system design.
• Support Commercial water treatment system start-up when required.
• Travel 1-3 Days per month.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Abilities

• 5 years of related work experience
• Installation, sizing, repair, and troubleshooting of commercial water treatment systems
• Technical drawing experience a plus
• Team player
• Pump, well, water distribution knowledge a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Water chemistry knowledge and or background
• Wholesale business knowledge/experience a plus
• Ability to multi-task

Education and Experience

• College degree preferred; relevant experience may offset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
