We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team at Blake Nursery. As a nursery retail staff member, you will have the opportunity to work with plants and customers in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

• Assist with plant care and customer sales in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
• Gain hands-on experience with Montana native and cold hardy plants, developing a deep understanding of their characteristics and needs.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture, working closely with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work effectively with plants, ensuring their health and well-being through regular care and maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Leverage knowledge of plants to make informed recommendations to customers, driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Requirements:

• A minimum of some experience working with plants and customers in a nursery setting.
• The ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• An excellent communication style, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and a willingness to learn new technologies.

• A competitive hourly rate of $15-$16 per hour.
• The opportunity to live on-site in one of our beautiful, newly constructed cabins, available for a low cost of approximately $350 per month, inclusive of all utilities.
