Job Summary
The Warehouse position is responsible for ensuring the security and correct reporting of all Blake’s physical inventory. This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager of Blake Farms to ensure accuracy and accountability pallets built for wholesale orders. This role will help identify all necessary processes and procedures to ensure this accountability.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Build and package Farm Style Food orders.
- Facilitate transfers and sales to Blake’s properties.
- Physically receive deliveries from vendors.
- Adhere to delivery schedule set by Director of Purchasing, Warehousing and Inventory.
- Deliver weekly Farm Style Food orders.
- Deliver store to store transfers, with assistant of Shipping & Receiving Manager.
- Ensure all invoices are properly delivered to accounting.
- Organize the warehouse using 5s protocol as it relates to inventory
- Support inventory storage and organization of all profit centers.
- Maintain cleanliness of all inventory areas.
- Periodically count all inventory.
- Weekly inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Support profit centers in completion of inventory counts.
- Manages inventory variance reporting
- Investigates large inventory variances.
- Reports suspected theft (internal or external)
- Communicates theft and variance conclusion to direct reports and accounting
- Reports unfollowed processes by profit centers to direct report
- May be expected to perform other duties that are not listed.
Education, Skills & Knowledge
- High school Diploma or Higher
- 1-2 years prior inventory experience preferred.
- Skills required for performing this job include: Robust Communication Skills, Great Teamwork Skills and Robust Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to move efficiently and timely
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day
- Microsoft Office proficient
- POS System proficient.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, lifting, kneeling, and reaching will be required
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must be available to work weekends during September & October.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
