This position is responsible for direct parts support and parts business growth for a multifunctional business unit providing steam and hydronic thermal solutions in the northeast. The Parts Manager is responsible for supporting internal and external customers to ensure availability of parts for the installed base of thermal energy solutions throughout the company's region. The Parts Manager position plays a critical role in maintaining Blake Thermal Sales & Service's reputation as a leading provider of thermal energy solutions. This position reports to the Director of Service and is located in East Windsor, CT with frequent travel across Blake Thermal territory.

Key Responsibilities:
- Short, mid and long term strategic planning for top and bottom line growth.
- Successful execution of the department's strategic plan.
- Generate parts proposals for internal and external customers.
- Full inventory control.
- Manage inventory in alignment with regional market needs and company metrics.
- Reduce/eliminate slow moving and obsolete inventory.
- Frequent communication with management and finance departments.
- Provide direct parts support to internal and external customers.
- Identify regional suppliers to ensure exceptional turnaround communication to clients while increasing profitability.
- Ensure compliance federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Act as liaison to manufacturers and vendors for warranty items, product development initiatives, product improvement requirements, customer concerns and other items as required.
- Coordinate and manage resources required to provide proper parts support for Blake Thermal's customer base across the northeast region.
- Remain up to date on all safety and compliance rules, regulations and policies related to this position.
- Provide strategic input to the sales team that will ensure advancement in Blake Thermal's position in the marketplace.
- Lead, manage and hold parts team accountable to business objectives.

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of verifiable parts management business experience. Steam and hydronic boiler systems experience preferred.
- Minimum of five years of successful inventory management experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in logistics.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Verifiable experience of working safely in a warehouse environment.
- Proven ability to interact with clients relative to parts business growth.
- Ability to productively interact with a cross-functional team.
- Self-starter who possesses a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to read and understand technical guides/drawings.
- Able to travel up to 40% of the time across Northeast Region.
- After hours availability to support internal customers.
- Proficiency in all MS Office products.
- Experience with NetSuite, a plus.
