Job Location :
This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to work onsite in Arlington, VA two to three days per week.

Job Description :
As an Accounting Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and expanding the accounting department, showcasing strong leadership abilities, promoting collaboration, and driving initiatives for process enhancement and automation. This role will work under the direct guidance of the CFO. You will oversee all aspects of accounting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, audits, and supporting the organization's growth initiatives. In this position, your job duties will include, but are not limited to :
- Financial Oversight : Managing all aspects of the accounting department, including monthly closings, general ledger management, deadlines, reconciliations, journal entries, audits, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Process Improvement : Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
- Data Management : Utilizing Unanet ERP system to manage financial data and reporting.
- Reporting : Generating financial reports, such as monthly budget variance reports, and ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards.
- Taxation : Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents and assisting with tax preparation and filing activities.
- Compliance : Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Audit Support : Coordinating and managing external audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Collaboration : Working with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, providing financial insights and guidance.
- Scaling Operations : Playing a key role in expanding the company's financial operations as the organization grows.
- Continuous Improvement : Driving initiatives to enhance financial operations, focusing on optimizing processes and systems for efficiency.

At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $130,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
