Job Description:
The Blake School seeks to hire energetic and enthusiastic program
instructors, specialists, counselors and camp assistants for its
Spring and Summer at Blake programs. Summer at Blake offers a wide
range of day camps and enrichment programs for students from
pre-kindergarten to grade 12, designed to nurture growth as scholars,
athletes and artists. Open to students across the Twin Cities, these
programs foster community connections and provide an engaging,
challenging and supportive environment for summer learning and
development. These programs utilize the school’s outstanding
facilities and are led by talented teachers, coaches and community
partners. Students build skills, gain confidence and develop
independence through arts, academics, sports and day camp experiences.

Camp Counselors: Responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate camp activities in the Cubs, Bears, Adventurers and Leaders in Training Day Camps at Blake including arts, technology, athletics, recreation and field trips
- Experience in teaching children ages 4–14 or prior day/recreational camp experience is required.
- The adult-to-youth ratio is 1:10 or less in all programs.
- Counselors are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8am to 3:45pm with morning and afternoon extended day opportunities available.
Camp Assistants: Have the opportunity to gain experience working with children ages 4–14 in fun and flexible roles that support our programs and team
- Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
- Training and mentorship will be provided.
- Schedules are flexible,with part-time and full-time opportunities available Monday through Friday between 7:15am and 5:45pm.
