The Resident Care Director (RCD) is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resident care team. This role ensures that all residents receive high-quality, individualized care in alignment with their care plans and physician orders while maintaining their rights and dignity. The Director of Resident Care serves as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers. This position requires a compassionate leader dedicated to staff development, regulatory compliance, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and caregivers. The primary responsibilities will include Resident care and well being, Leadership and Staff Development, Compliance and Documentation, as well as Communication and Coordination.
Compensation will be based on level of education, job experience and necessary skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Supervise daily operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills in resident care.
- Foster a supportive environment for residents, promoting their rights and dignity.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for residents, including those with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's and dementia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
