Description:
Ground Solar Installers responsible for assuring all work is done in a timely manner, professionally and accurately. Capable of laying solar panels, bending conduit, troubleshooting the photovoltaic system components and electrical equipment both on ground and roof and verifying successful connection and operation of the solar system.
Communicating completion and any important information with Project Coordinator
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5-year experience in the solar industry
* Roofing/Electrical work
* Must be able to bend pipe
*Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally throughout the day.
* Ability to work safely with heights on ladders and in confined areas with confidence.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record REQUIRED.
* Must be able to pass a drug/background check
Skills:
Ability to work safely on a roof.
Ability to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot issues.
Ability to correctly and efficiently install Company product.
Strong work ethic, and excellent communication and documentation skills.
Self-motivated with an attention to productivity, detail, and safety.
Skilled in the use of power and hand tools and provide training in the safe operation of power and hand tools to others.
Responsibilities:
Connecting solar arrays to the electrical system, including inverters, wiring, batteries and disconnects, following electrical codes and safety procedures.
Activating and testing the solar-powered system to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues
Collect data and photos during and at the end of each project.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety.
Competently delegate work amongst crew and resolve potential crew issues.
Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability.
