Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for children.
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Help create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum goals.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Help prepare materials and set up learning centers for daily activities.
- Assist with mealtime routines, including serving meals and snacks to students.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
Qualifications:
-Must have a High School Diploma or GED
-CDA
-30 college Credits/60 credits
- Early childhood education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and situations in the classroom.
