What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reserve Deputy Constable position at Blanco County Precinct 1 Constable's Office?
The Blanco County Precinct 1 Constable's Office is a proactive agency in one of the fastest growing places in the United States. Deputy Constables serve as patrol officers, court bailiffs, and civil process servers. Precinct 1 stretches over approximately 500 square miles of North Blanco County.
Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Answering calls for service
- Serving Civil and Criminal Process
- Bailiff Duties
- Investigating Environmental Crimes and Enforcing Environmental Laws
- Traffic Enforcement
- Motorist Assistance
- Providing Assistance to Other Law Enforcement Agencies
Other duties, as assigned
Patrol experience is preferred. Applicants must have a basic TCOLE peace officer certification and be able to pass an extensive background investigation.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
