Blankenship Equipment Repair is a compacting and recycling business serving the Pacific Northwest and Canada. We are growing and have an opening for a shop helper to join our team.
This is an entry level position that offers opportunity for growth within our company.
In this role you will be assisting in the shop, making deliveries, assisting with scrapping, unloading, and doing some light welding/fabrication.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical abilities, be comfortable working with hand and power tools, and have a desire to build their skills for advancement.

Work Hours: Mon – Fri – 7:30 – 4p
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Experience driving delivery or box truck, preferred
- Must pass preemployment drug and background screens
- Prior experience working in a shop or warehouse
- Experience working with hand tools
- Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs occasionally
- Experience welding, fabricating, torch cutting – helpful
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Familiarity with OSHA safety rules
Pay Range: $20 - $22 p/hr DOE
Benefits:
- 40-Hours Vacation after 6-months. 80-Hours after one full year with incremental annual increases up to 4-weeks.
