Drawing Checking Responsibilities:
- Check drawings to ensure they conform to BCT engineering SOPs.
- Maintain consistency in checking comments, treating all engineers equally.
- Ensure all drawings from 20 engineers have a similar look for shop floor consistency.
- Possess knowledge of welding practices and procedures.
- Be detail-oriented, consistent, and accurate when checking drawings.
- Conduct auxiliary design reviews from a mechanical standpoint.
Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with experience in heavy plate fabrication environments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain consistency in drawing checks and comments.
- Excellent knowledge of welding practices and procedures.
- Over 5 years of experience working with engineers, steel fabrications, shop personnel, field personnel, and customers is highly desirable.
