General Description
BCT is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to assist in scheduling work centers, processing and distributing work order packets and creating work orders in the ERP system. The individual will follow urgent work orders from creation to completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Responsible for tracking the status of jobs in progress on the manufacturing floor and report current progress to the manufacturing support team.
- Dispatch Work Orders in ERP system and hand off to programming. Complete work orders and verify material is issued to the jobs.
- Identify obsolete parts due to ECNs and ensure proper scrapping procedures are followed.
- Track and follow up on missing, lost, and urgent parts through the manufacturing process.
- Issue rework Work Orders and coordinate required operations with manufacturing teams.
- Serve as the shop contact for adding rework / additional operations to work orders, tracking lost parts, and reprinting paperwork.
- Update shop packets with new drawings and work orders as needed.
- Maintain and update documentation, drawings, and production records as well as providing administrative tasks related to production work orders.
- Committed to upholding all safety rules, standards, procedures, and PPE requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
