Under the direction of the Quality Manager and the Quality Engineer Lead, the Quality Technician I will be responsible for performing precise inspections on incoming parts and materials from vendors/suppliers to ensure quality standards are met. This role involves using various measurement tools and devices to verify part specifications and maintain product quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Conduct inspections on incoming materials and parts from suppliers to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures, gauges, calipers, and other measuring devices to assess product conformity accurately.
- Ensure inspection area, equipment, and tools are maintained in an orderly and safe manner.
- Handle incoming parts from receiving to complete an accurate and thorough inspection before moving the parts/materials to functional areas and stock locations.
- Communicate any quality issues to the Quality Team leaders and assist with resolving the issue and completing corrective action for non-compliant parts.
- Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, documentation, files, records, etc.
- Committed to upholding all safety rules, standards, procedures, and PPE requirements to ensure a safe working environment.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of Quality Control and Inspection experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
